This Christmas, DriveX marked the festive season with a deeper sense of purpose by bringing joy, dignity, and inclusion to students with intellectual disabilities, in partnership with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. The initiative reflected the kind of culture DriveX is consciously building—one rooted in empathy, responsibility, and a belief that business success must go hand in hand with positive social impact.

The initiative focused on one simple yet powerful principle: listening. Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach to giving, DriveX sought to understand what would truly bring happiness to the students and honour their individuality.

As part of the initiative, students and young adults from Samarthanam Trust shared their personal wish lists, reflecting their interests, aspirations, and everyday desires. Each wish was carefully documented and fulfilled, ensuring that every young adults and students received a gift that was not just festive, but deeply personal and empowering.

The thoughtful execution ensured that dignity and choice remained at the heart of the initiative. DriveX highlighted that meaningful inclusion is rooted in listening, respect, and acknowledging the values that mirror the organisation’s internal culture of right choice in every action which leads to trust, care, and shared ownership.

The initiative also saw wholehearted participation from across the organisation, with the collective effort ensuring that every single wish was fulfilled, transforming the celebration into a moment of shared joy and genuine connection.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Founder & Managing Trustee Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled said: “What makes this initiative truly special is the thoughtfulness behind it. When students receive something they have personally wished for, it brings not just happiness but also a deep sense of being heard and valued. We appreciate the DriveX team for celebrating Christmas in a way that honours dignity, inclusion, and genuine care..”

Speaking on behalf of DriveX, Devesh Taparia, CEO added: “At DriveX, we believe our responsibility extends beyond business outcomes. This initiative reflects the empathy and commitment of our employees and culture, who chose to celebrate Christmas by creating real, personal impact. Fulfilling every student’s wish highlights the impact of collective action rooted in empathy..”

Through this Christmas initiative, DriveX reflected on how empathy-driven actions can foster inclusion, build trust, and create meaningful impact beyond the workplace.
