KLH Global Business School (KLH GBS), Hyderabad, proudly celebrates its outstanding BBA student and India’s shooting sensation, Dhanush Srikanth, who clinched the gold medal in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event and another gold in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event at the Tokyo Deaflympics 2025, delivering a world-record-breaking performance.
Dhanush, who hails from Hyderabad, scored a phenomenal 252.2 in the finals, setting a new world record. Earlier, in the qualification round, he created a Deaflympics record by shooting 630.6 to storm into the finals of the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event.
This achievement marks Dhanush’s third and fourth Deaflympics gold medals. The 23-year-old had earlier secured two gold medals at the 2022 Deaflympics in Brazil, reinforcing India’s growing prominence in international shooting sports.
Speaking about Dhanush’s exceptional accomplishment, Er. Despite being a Hearing & Speech impaired personality, Dhanush has consistently demonstrated that this shortcoming is not a limitation but a different form of strength. His determination and precision have made him one of India’s decorated athletes. Dhanush is also a regular contender in the Normal Category and has consistently ranked within the Top 15 in India.
