Better Nutrition, India’s first biofortified food brand, has unveiled its advanced X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Analyzer, bringing unprecedented scientific validation, safety, and transparency to everyday nutrition. With this development, Better Nutrition becomes the only private organization in India and among a handful globally to deploy XRF technology for real-time nutrient and heavy-metal verification across every batch of food produced.

The system powers India’s first complete soil-to-food nutrient verification model, ensuring that nutrition is not just claimed, but grown, measured, and proven. The advanced XRF Analyzer captures a comprehensive nutrient scorecard in under 100 seconds, measuring 20+ essential nutrients, including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, manganese, and boron, while simultaneously screening for 10+ harmful heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury.

Commenting on the launch, Prateek Rastogi, Co-founder, Better Nutrition, said,
“Almost every batch of food we produce is tested using this advanced technology, allowing us to precisely measure nutrient levels and ensure the absence of harmful heavy metals. In India, we are the only private organization with this capability today. Going forward, we will share these verified results with consumers to build unmatched trust and transparency.”

Unlike conventional packaged foods that rely on broad marketing claims, Better Nutrition can now scientifically validate the nutrient density of every batch before it reaches consumers.

Adding to this, Aishwarya Bhatnagar, Co-founder, Better Nutrition, said,
“We have built India’s first system that can both increase and validate nutrients in everyday staples. Nutrition is no longer assumed-it is verified. This sets a new, science-backed standard for everyday food in India.”

The innovation directly addresses India’s persistent hidden hunger challenge by enabling consumers to meet a meaningful portion of their daily nutrient requirements through regular staples, without artificial fortification or supplements.
