APM Terminals Pipavav successfully flagged off a dedicated block train carrying 90 x 20’ GP containers from Pipavav Port to Inland Container Depot (ICD) Kanakpura, Jaipur. The train movement showcases the execution of a large logistics project for a leading client in the solar energy sector.
The cargo, shipped from Malaysia on the vessel ONE MARVEL (V-0079W), arrived at Pipavav Port and was transported in a single train movement to Jaipur ICD. The end-to-end logistics operation was executed in collaboration with Ocean Network Express (India) Pvt. Ltd, Fast Forward Logistics India Pvt Ltd, Seven Seas Lines SDN BHD and CONCOR.
This activity demonstrates the efficiency of multimodal connectivity through Pipavav Port, integrating ocean and rail transport to deliver time-sensitive cargo project safely and reliably. The seamless coordination between shipping, port, and rail partners ensured swift handling and efficient delivery, strengthening Pipavav’s capability to manage large-scale, specialized cargo movements for industrial projects.
