Ampere Launches GEM Forest Initiative on Independence Day

This Independence Day, Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand from Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM), launched its visionary GEM Forest initiative with a symbolic heritage ride across India’s most iconic landmarks.

Garima Avtar, extreme rally car driver and Co-Chair at the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, led the ride on the Ampere Nexus, kicking off the GEM Forest project. As part of this effort, for every kilometre she rides, 10 trees will be planted, marking the beginning of a sustained commitment to environmental regeneration.

Reflecting on the ride, Garima Avtar said: “Silent wheels. Zero emissions. Maximum freedom.”  

The GEM Forest will grow through community-focused drives and eco-initiatives, reinforcing Ampere’s mission to outperform, outlast, and outshine while fostering a greener future.
