We may be over halfway through 2025 but there is a lot to look forward to from the tech industry in the second part of the year. We have enjoyed some fantastic technological additions in 2025 but what big tech drops are still to come?

iPhone 17

One of the most eagerly anticipated tech drops of 2025 is the iPhone 17. The flagship Apple phone is a highlight of every year and 2025 is set to be no different with the iPhone 17 expected to be available in September. So, what can we expect from the latest iPhone? Rumours are that in place of the iPhone 16 Plus mode we will see the iPhone 17 Air, which is a new super slim design. There will be several colours available across the iPhone 17 range, including black, white, steel grey, green, purple, light blue, and orange. In terms of the camera, there are rumours we could see the first mechanical aperture in an iPhone, something we have seen in some Android phones. The higher end models of the iPhone 17 are expected to include a A19 Pro processor which means more than enough power to watch movies, play the latest video games, and enjoy real dealer games at SpinBet casino.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the thinnest foldable phone to date in the Z Fold series. It is also the lightest foldable phone in the Samsung range so for those have previously been put off by the weight of foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be a difference maker. The main display of the device is 8 inches, and the screen is bright and responsive. There is a new camera system when compared to the Z Fold 6 and this latest version of the device will delight users with a 200MP wide camera. There is a lot of A.I. included on the phone, as we expect with all new top end releases and while it plays a significant role in the operation of many aspects of the device, it is not intrusive. So, those who have been waiting for a slim and light foldable phone with excellent performance and display, will be incredibly happy when the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 hits the shelves.

Hisense U8Q: Mini LED 100 Inch

Moving from phones to televisions and the Hi-View Engine Pro is a new addition to the Hisense television range for 2025. The Hi-View Engine Pro uses advanced AI technology, so every frame is displayed at its best, regardless of the type of content being watched. We can look forward to a 100-inch version of the Hisense U8Q: Mini LED being released later in the year. This television offers Dolby Atmos and 165Hz gaming and is targeting both movie and gaming connoisseurs. Thanks to an ambient light sensor, anti-glare filter, and automatic picture mode, the latter of which is powered by AI, the Hisense U8Q: Mini LED produces an incredible picture, whatever the viewing conditions.

Some of the other big tech drops still to come in 2025 include the Samsung Tri-Fold Phone, Nvidia N1X CPU, and the ROG Xbox Ally.
