Vi Brings 5G Connectivity to Sonipat, Strengthens Digital Footprint Across Haryana

Vi, one of India’s leading telecom operators, today announced the launch of its high-speed 5G services in Sonipat, marking a significant step in its ongoing rollout across 23 cities within its 17 priority circles.

With this launch, Vi users in Sonipat can begin accessing 5G services from tomorrow, provided they have 5G-enabled devices. As part of its introductory offer, Vi is offering unlimited 5G data on plans starting at ₹299, enabling customers to enjoy buffer-free HD streaming, online gaming, real-time video conferencing, faster downloads, and seamless cloud-based operations.

This latest expansion adds to Vi’s earlier 5G rollouts in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chandigarh, Patna, Nagpur, and Jaipur, as the company accelerates efforts to make next-gen connectivity accessible across urban and rural India.

Parallel to its 5G expansion, Vi has also significantly upgraded its 4G network across Haryana, following a successful Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) last year. Key upgrades include:

• 900 MHz spectrum deployment across 1700+ sites

• Capacity doubled from 5 MHz to 10 MHz on 1200+ sites in cities like Panipat, Sonipat, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal, and more

• 2100 MHz spectrum expansion from 10 MHz to 15 MHz in 1000+ sites

• Installation of 230+ new sites to boost overall coverage
