According to the official notification from the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training Shri Shailesh Kumar Singh, who is a 1991 batch IAS is set to join the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as the Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner.
Shri Singh is joining from the position of Additional Chief Secretary Cum Principal Secretary to Governor of Jharkhand. He is an IIT Kanpur and Harward University alumini and have also served the Jharkhand Government as IT Secretary.
A first-class electrical engineering graduate, Shri Shailesh Singh has also served as District Collector of Nalanda, Siwan (Bihar), East Singhbhum, Bokaro and Hazaribagh before joining as Special Secretary in the Home Department in Jharkhand.
