SBH launches NPA resolution quarter for Defaulters in Agri & SMEs

The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has launched non-performing assets (NPA) resolution quarter campaign from July 1 to September 30, 2015 to facilitate the defaulting borrowers (NPA a/cs) in agriculture, small value SMEs and per segments who could not pay the interest and instalment in time due to unavoidable circumstances, natural calamities.

According to a media report, the bank requested defaulting borrowers to approach their respective SBH branches and get rid of the debt burden, avoid penalties and further legal actions. NPA borrowers falling in this category may approach the branch.

The bank has launched special OTS schemes this financial year to help borrowers in distress under various segments like agriculture, small Loans and Bank Adalat.

These schemes with attractive benefits will be mainly settled at branch level.

In the campaign period, the NPA loans will be settled under compromise settlements. All suit filed cases can also be settled and resolved during this campaign.
