The National Stock Exchange (NSE), India’s largest equity bourse, has started the celebration of its silver jubilee by unveiling its new brand identity.
The new logo was unveiled at its silver jubilee celebration at a function in New Delhi, which was attended by former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chairman, Niti Aayog Rajiv Kumar and Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Anil Baijal. On the other hand, President Ram Nath Kovind couldn't attend the event due to his busy schedule.
The premier bourse sheds the age-old brown patch and added yellow, red, blue and dashes of marigold and the contours of the squarish emblem have been given a rounded shape.
"NSE's new brand identity is based on its 25-year-old foundation stone and its future growth will also be based on the same foundation", says Vikram Limaye, CEO, NSE. He added the logo signifies the past as well as the growth of the future.
