The MSME sector is waiting eagerly for the much awaited MSME Policy which is likely to be launched in October this year.
NEW DELHI: A media report quoted Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra as saying that the MSME Policy will be launched in October.
The ‘One man Committee’ headed by former Jharkhand Governor Prabhat Kumar which was formed to formulate the MSME policy is working to finalize all the recommendations by October 31, 2016.
In July, Kochi-based Institute of Small Enterprise and Development (ISED) was roped in as an institutional associate to the Prabhat Kumar Committee on MSME Policy.
ISED has been helping the committee in research and analysis to help the committee draft its final recommendations.
