Manohar Lal Khattar Eased out Industrial Operations Guidelines for COVID Lockdown Days in Haryana

Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal Khattar informed that in 14 districts -- Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa and Yamunanagar -- immediate automatic self-generated approvals would be accorded simultaneously at the time of applying.

While the voice of industry has urged for some proactive measures which will ultimately motivate industries to come back rather fight back from COVID-19 Pandemic. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has responded to those industrywide voices and approved the revised state guidelines for easing of lockdown in the state, an official informed.

An official spokesman said activities would be allowed on the automatic route after obtaining a self-declaration from the industrial units, commercial establishments and construction projects that they are complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

He said in 14 districts -- Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa and Yamunanagar -- immediate automatic self-generated approvals would be accorded simultaneously at the time of applying.

The spokesman said for industries, industrial establishments and commercial and private establishments, other than information technology units, if workforce requirement is up to 20 people, immediate approval will be granted.

In case of requirement of more than 20 people, 50 per cent of the workforce or 20 people, whichever is higher, would be allowed.

For information technology and information technology enabled services units, in case of workforce requirement of up to 20 people, 50 per cent of the requirement would be allowed, whereas in case of requirement of more than 20 people, 33 per cent of the workforce or 10 people, whichever is higher, would be allowed.

The spokesman said in all 22 districts, industrial units, commercial establishments and construction projects having in-situ labour would be allowed to operate with all workers present in their premises.
