As we all know, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is travelling to the United States for his health issues, in his absence, Union Minister Piyush Goyal is all set to present Interim Budget 2019 in the Parliament in some time from now. This is important to note that this interim budget is coming just a few weeks before political parties get into full election mode, Union Budget 2019 is expected to bring some cheer to the common man, especially farmers and job seekers. Some relief may also be announced for the government employees. For common taxpaying individuals, the budget is expected to raise the exemption limit to Rs 5 lakh from the current Rs 2.5 lakh.
But it is extremely important that this is Modi Government's 6th Budget and last budget of this govt. It is important to see how the budget demands of CII, FICCI, Assocham and PHD Chamber of Commerce are getting addressed by the finance minister. SMEStreet as a dedicated platform for Indian SMEs and MSMEs have also successfully conducted a campaign in which we have presented industry's core and most demanding issues that are required to drive growth through the MSMEs.
