India & US to Announce Large Sized Trade Deals

A much awaited US President Donald Trump's first visit started with a great big bang show in Ahmedabad today. President Trump along with the first lady of America arrived India on a 2-day state visit.

Trump while addressing over 1 lakh people in the Motera stadium spoke about how America and India will soon mark a fantastic trade deal in a bid to boost economies.

The US President said, “Prime Minister Modi and I will be making some very big trade deal to boost our countries economy. I am sure that we can reach a good trade but Modi is a tough negotiator”.

Trump further said, “A booming America is great for India and the world. Modi has made some significant reforms in India. The world wants to see more reforms”.

Donald Trump mentioned about signing a USD 3 billion defence deal. He said, “I have come to India to expand our relations. Modi and I will continue our dialogue to deepen the relation between our countries. Our relations took a new turn when the Indian and US military has a joint exercise – Tiger Triumph.

“We make the best military hardware and we now deal with India. Tomorrow we will sign a $3-billion defence deal. We want India to become our premier defence partner." he said,

Trump said that relations with India hold a special place for his country, saying that America "loves" and is "loyal" to India.

Later PM Modi while addressing the people said, “India-US ties have deepened significantly under President Donald Trump and that his visit is reflective of a new chapter in bilateral ties between the two countries”.

Talking about the trade deals PM Modi said that Today, The US is India's biggest trading partner. The US is also the nation with which India holds the most number of defence exercises and has the most expansive research collaborations.
