IIA Conducted Two-Day E-Vehicle And Solar Energy Virtual Conference

IIA, Solar Summit

The two-day National Conference on Solar Energy and e-Vehicle was started by Indian Industries Association. The Conclave was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister for Skill Development and Vocational Training, Shri Kapil Dev Aggarwal. Other distinguished guests and speakers on this occasion are as follows.

Shri Ashwani Khandelwal, General Secretary IIA started the proceedings by welcoming all the distinguished guests. Shri Khandelwal told that in accordance with the goal of solar energy, India has achieved remarkable success. This is an inspiring situation. 

All the distinguished guests were introduced by Mr. Tariq Hasan Naqvi, Chairman Solar Energy Committee IIA. Mr. Naqvi informed that from the year 2014, IIA is organizing Solar Summit continuously. In the year 2018, this was organized as the National Solar Summit at the national level. This program was supported by the country's largest companies and UPNEDA. The need for solar energy is emphasized in the country today.| 

Prof. Usha Bajpai welcomed everyone while addressing the conclave. The government has set a target of producing 175 GW of energy by 2022, out of which 100 GW has been kept under the head of solar energy. The government plans to make it 250 GW by 2030. 

Mr. Kunal Silco IAS Managing Director Training and Development said that the solar sector is a new sector in which a lot of work is being done. Courses have been started in the field of solar energy, in which people are being trained. The government is making efforts in this direction because the manufacturers and users of Solar Energy are not able to give proper training to the related people.

National President Mr. Pankaj Kumar welcomed everyone including the Hon’ble Minister and also thanked UPNEDA for the successful organization of this conclave. In view of the state of pollution in the state, this conclave is important, more and more people will join it. In this work, we will realize the vision of self-reliance. India through technological up-gradation in which it is imported from outside. MSME is working at a very small level. With this conclave, MSME will be involved in skill development and solar energy development, and also employment opportunities will increase.

Hon’ble Minister thanked IIA in his address and said that this gives an opportunity to know and understand the problems of the enterprise. Expressing gratitude to all the distinguished guests, through this conclave, the work of developing and training workers will be strengthened. Employment opportunities will be available through the training of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Emphasis was laid on increasing the charging infrastructure on the E-Vehicle. Currently, the operation of solar powered vehicles has increased in the society. It is clear from the registration of our vehicles. There will be a reduction in pollution and clean energy will be obtained. Electric vehicles have increased over the years as follows:-

  • 2017-18 – 69,012 Vehicle
  • 2018-19 – 1, 43,358 Vehicle
  • 2019-20 – 1, 67,041 Vehicle
