Carmaker Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said it has exported over 5,000 units in May after restarting production.
In a statement issued here the company said after restarting production on May 8 it has produced over 5,000 units for export markets.
Pointing out the company's exports of over three million cars since 1999, S.S. Kim, Managing Director and Chief Executive Office said: "We have once again made a humble beginning towards normalcy by exporting more than 5,000 units in May 2020."
In calendar year, Hyundai Motor India exported 1,81,200 units with 792 customised variants according to country-specific preference and demand.
