Embassy Industrial Parks Distributing Dry Ration Packets to 225 Families in Bhiwandi

Covid19 pandemic has been an exceptionally challenging time for India and corporates are working hand in hand with the government to provide the essential support so that the people in need can get some relief. Embassy Group is instrumental to empower the underprivileged section of society and has been actively facilitating the government during this time by providing meals and dry ration to daily wage workers in Bengaluru, they are also supporting 3500 families of students of Government schools. While COVID19’s impact is widespread, Maharashtra is the hotspot for the pandemic. The daily wage worker’s suffering during this period is beyond measure especially because the state is extensively populated with migrant workers who during this time are also distressed because of no income. In an effort to offer a helping hand to the group’s initiative Embassy Industrial Parks are distributing dry ration packets to 225 families– mainly Dhamangaon and Kashivali from Embassy Industrial Parks office in Bhiwandi. The industrial and logistics parks company marking its pan India’s presence is in the process of acquiring land to set up their industrial park in Bhiwandi. Currently, they have an office located there which gave them the opportunity to reach out to the large number of migrants residing in the region. This activity was conducted with the help of a local Sarpanch in Bhiwandi to reach out to more people.

However, the underprivileged daily wage worker’s survival has become an issue during the lockdown. We are trying our best to support them. We salute them for their patience in this trying time. However, things will get better after this phase passes and everything will be normal. Bhiwandi is a hub for business and offers great opportunity, it is just a matter of time we recover from the pandemic but till then we need perseverance and it is essential we extend our helping hand to the ones in need.”
