NEW DELHI: The government listed its legislative agenda for the Winter Session of Parliament, beginning from Wednesday, which includes passage of pending legislation for rollout of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the surrogacy regulation bill.

The government has listed nine bills for introduction, consideration and passage while it listed 10 pending bills in both houses of Parliament for consideration and its passage.

Following are the bills for introduction, consideration and passage:

The Central Goods and Service Tax Bill, The Integrated Goods and Service Tax Bill, The Goods and Services Tax (Compensation for loss of revenue) Bill, The Indian Institute of Management Bill, The Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, The Divorce (Amendment) Bill, The Collection of Statistics (Amendment) Bill, The Constitution Scheduled Tribes (Order) Amendment Bill and The Admiralty (Jurisdiction and Settlement of Maritime Claims) Bill.

Following are the pending bills for consideration and passage:

Lok Sabha: The Mental Health Care Bill, 2016, The Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Bill, 2016, The Consumer Protection Bill, 2015 and The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

Rajya Sabha: The HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Bill, 2014, the Employees Compensation (Amendment) Bill, 2016, the Factories (Amendment) Bill, 2016, the Whistle Blowers Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2015, the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill, 2013 and the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Bill, 2016.

Apart from these bills, the government has listed second Supplementary Demands for Grants (General) for 2016-17, Supplementary Demands for Excess Grants (General) for 2013-14, Supplementary Demands for Grants (Railways) for 2016-17 and Demands for Excess Grants (Railways) for 2013-14 as financial business.

The government has listed a bill each for withdrawal from both houses.

The High Court (Alteration of Names) Bill, 2016 is to be withdrawn from Lok Sabha while the Participation of Workers in Management Bill, 1990 is listed for withdrawal from Rajya Sabha.
