Arun Kumar Jha Becomes the CEO of KVIC

Mr Arun Kumar Jha is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).

A 1985-batch officer of Indian Economics Service, Mr Jha currently leading National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) as the Director General under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Mr Jha is known for his significant contributions for NIESBUD and Ministry of MSME. Under his leadership NIESBUD forayed some flagship projects such as Niesbud’s MSME Virtual Cluster, NIESBUD Naukri Portal and training and skill development program of Niesbud also registered multiple hundred thousand people.

He has been appointed to the post of CEO of KVIC which is a Joint Secretary level post as per the government hierarchy. The announcement was made by the order issued by Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
