Finance Bill 2018 Clears Lok Sabha Mandate

The Lok Sabha has passed the Finance Bill 2018  after which it will now be presented in the Upper House.

The Finance Bill will be now presented in the Rajya Sabha which will have a 14-day window to debate over the budget before sending it back to Lok Sabha.

The Finance Bill was reportedly passed with 21 amendments and three clauses.

The Lok Sabha has been facing frequent disruptions failing to transact substantial business.
