341st SME to Get Listed on BSE SME Platform

SEBI came out with detailed guidelines on 18th May, 2010 for launching of SME Exchange/Platform. BSE became the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and launch its SME platform on 13th March, 2012.

Focus Business Solution Limited became the 341st company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform on July 13, 2021. Focus Business Solution Limited came out with an initial public offering of 6,42,000 Equity Shares of Rs.10 Each (“Equity Shares”) For Cash at a Price of Rs.19 Per Equity Share (The “Offer Price”), Aggregating to Rs.1.22 Crore. The company has successfully completed its public issue on July 05, 2021.

Focus Business Solution Limited is a Gujarat based company whose registered office is at Surat. The company engaged in the business of debt collection services for Banks, NBFC and financial institutions. Company enter the agreement with India’s leading banks, financial institutions and non-banking financial companies to act as authorised recovery/collection agents on behalf of them.

So far, 107 companies have migrated to the main board. The 340 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs.3,515.93 crore from the market and total market capitalization of 340 companies as on July 12, 2021 is Rs. 30,468.13 Crore. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 61 percent.

The response since the launch of this platform by BSE has been very positive till date.
