Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan on Saturday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists for the successful launch of the PSLV-C49 vehicle.
“Successful launch of PSLV-C49 by ISRO scientists after Covid lockdown is a demonstration of their dedication to the country’s space programme,” said Harichandan.
The ISRO launched 10 satellites in space from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, located in southern Andhra Pradesh.
The launch centre is 400 km south of Vijayawada.
The Governor wished many more successes to the ISRO.
Reddy also congratulated the ISRO scientists for the successful launch.
“My best wishes to the scientists for their future endeavours,” he added.
