The election of the National President of Indian Industries Association (IIA), which is the largest organization of MSME entrepreneurs in the country, was conducted today by Election Officer Naveen Khanna at IIA Bhawan, Lucknow. This process of election started from the first week of April 2024 and was completed today in which Shri Neeraj Singhal was elected unopposed as the National President of IIA for the year 2024-25 by the 21 Elected Central Executive Committee Members of IIA. This will be Shri Neeraj Singhal's second consecutive term as IIA National President and he will continue to hold the post of IIA President till 30 June 2025.
Mr. Neeraj Singhal is a leading industrialist from Ghaziabad who owns Kalco Group of companies named Kalco Alu System Pvt Ltd, Karshni Aluminum Co Ltd. and Kalco KIT.
More than 100 IIA Office bearers and industrialists from many states were present in this election meeting, who congratulated Mr. Singal on being re-elected as the National President of IIA.
IIA's MSME Mission
In his address, the newly appointed National President IIA, while mentioning the priorities of his new tenure, said that in the year 2024-25, IIA will continue its work on its mission “Transforming MSME Towards Industry 4.0 and 48”. The activities of IIA will be further strengthened because only if IIA is strengthened we will be able to strengthen MSMEs also. Our main objective will be to get the problems of MSMEs solved, get good policies made for them by the government and find new markets for them in the country and abroad. This year, Build Bharat Expo will be organized to take the products of MSMEs to international markets and IIA Export Facilitation Center will be strengthened.
Mr. Singal has been running his industry for the last 32 years and has been working in various positions in IIA for the last 20 years.
