The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC) is the only Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The details of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects/activities of NSIC and the areas where CSR were spent during the last two years are given at Annexure-I and Annexure-II, respectively.
An evaluation cum impact assessment study for CSR projects /activities was conducted by NSIC in FY 2017-18 through the Society for Socio-Economic Studies and Services (SSESS), a National level Data Collection, Processing & Analytical Research & Development Oriented Institution. The report assigned ‘Outstanding & Great performance’ to the NSIC’s CSR projects.
There was no contribution from CSR fund of NSIC to PM’s fund during the last two years. However, the details of CSR funds spent on amelioration of poverty and ensuring gender equality is enclosed at Annexure-III.
