Uttar Pradesh has a very rich history of micro, small and medium industries (MSME). The specific product of every district (one district is one product) is proof of this. Now through these MSME industries and one district one product, the government will provide about 90 lakh additional employment opportunities. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that an additional employment opportunity should be created in every MSME. It is known that at present there are 90 lakh units of MSMEs in the state. The rules for all types of NOCs will be simplified along with the environmental norms for newfound units. For transparency, all these certificates will be available in a single-window system.
MSME Sector to Rise in Uttar Pradesh
In his instruction on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that it is my commitment that this sector in Uttar Pradesh will achieve its glory as before. The current Corona crisis has given us this opportunity. We will accept this as a challenge and make the state the hub of the MSME sector. This will provide employment to people at the local level with minimum capital, minimum risk. Along with this, a new Uttar Pradesh will also be built.
The Chief Minister said that entrepreneurs who set up units under this sector will be able to apply in the last hundred days of 1000 days and get NOCs. Bankers will give loans on easy terms to every entrepreneur setting up the unit. For this, loan fairs will be organized in every district from May 12 to May 20. One has to apply online to participate in it. Instructions have been given to the bankers in the meeting of the State Level Bankers Committee.
Action Plan to Motivate MSME Entrepreneurs
The Chief Minister said that the concerned officials should motivate more entrepreneurs to set up units of micro, small and medium industries in the state. Prepare a detailed action plan as soon as possible for this. Despite the recession, this sector has contributed significantly to the growth of per capita income of the state in the last three years. We will further increase the per capita income through this, he said.
