National President IIA highlighted the problem of non-availability of land for setting up industries in the state in detail before the Hon'ble Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, he also urged to activate the divisional level MSE Facilitation Council constituted for settlement of pending payments of micro and small industries. National President IIA said in his remarks that during your tenure as Minister MSME in UP, there has been a lot of improvement in the functioning of district level Udyog Bandhu meetings in the state, but tripartite meetings at the state level, meetings of state level Udyog Bandhu Committee and high-level authorized committees have not been held for a long time. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen Udyog Bandhu at the state level. After the speech of the National President IIA, the chapter chairmen who came to the program from different districts of the state also gave representations to the Honorable Minister about the problems of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises at the district level.

Hon'ble Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Uttar Pradesh in his address said that the problem of non-availability of land for setting up industries for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the state will be solved by taking it seriously and by bringing this problem to the notice of Hon'ble Chief Minister, we will try to solve it soon. Whatever industrial land is lying vacant or which is in illegal possession in the state will be identified on priority basis and used for setting up Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Hon'ble Minister said that in the MSME policy of Uttar Pradesh, there is a provision to buy 25 percent of the total government procurement from Micro and Small Enterprises of the state, which will be implemented for the development of MSMEs in the state. The ODOP scheme started by the Hon’ble Chief minister in the state is becoming very successful today, which is echoing not only in the whole country but also in foreign countries. Recently, Hon'ble Prime Minister has gifted ODOP products to all the heads of state who came to the G-7 summit, which is a matter of pride for us. To achieve one- trillion economy in the state, the contribution of MSME is very important. That is why the MSME sector is also in high priority of Honorable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji.

Responding positively to the problems and representations presented in front of the Hon’ble Minister in the program, the Hon’ble Minister said that whatever problems and representations you have given to me today, I will try to solve them by talking to my officers in 2-3 days.  If needed, I will also get the meeting of the National President, IIA and other office bearers done with the concerned officers in my department.
