Nand Gopal Nandi Inaugurated the E-Vehicle Expo During India Solar & E-Vehicle Expo

On 26 March 2022, the Inauguration of the E-vehicle segment in India Solar and E-Vehicle was done by Hon'ble Cabinet Minister Shri Nand Gopal Nandi Ji at IIA Bhawan Lucknow. In this Inauguration, Mayor Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta from Prayagraj has graced the expo as Guest of Honor. One Day National Solar and E-Vehicle Seminar was also inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister in the conference hall of IIA Bhawan.

While visiting the stalls of 56 companies engaged in the expo, the Hon'ble Cabinet Minister, obtained the information regarding solar and e-vehicles and also expressed interest in the products in the exhibition.

IIA President welcomed the Honorable Minister and the Mayor and expressed his thanks and said that solar has a great contribution in the interest of the environment and saving foreign exchange and reaching towards the industry, electricity, and water to remote rural areas. It is our endeavor that maximum solar should be used in the interest of the country.

After the expo and seminar, the Hon'ble Cabinet Minister, while addressing all the visitors and all the companies participating in the exhibition, if the industry progresses only then the country will progress. Today I have again become a cabinet minister on the strength of faith of all the people. Due to being associated with the industry, I am well aware of the problems related to the industry and my effort remains so that I will try to provide all possible support. IIA in itself is capable of providing support to the industries.

The Honorable Minister further said that the government of the state and the country is also with the industry and today Uttar Pradesh is a fear-free state under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. Industries are now functioning in a safe and fear-free environment. Today the whole country is looking towards Uttar Pradesh, for which the credit goes to the honorable Chief Minister. To establish new industries in Uttar Pradesh, many foreign companies are willing to invest. It is my assurance that the problems being faced by the industries will be presented before the Hon'ble Chief Minister by contacting the concerned department along with their complete solutions.

Prayagraj Mayor Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta in her address said that the government keeps trying to reconcile both the technological up-gradation with the problems of the industry. The increasing use of solar is saving electricity. Today solar is being used in rural areas as well. Solar is also being used in government corporations. How can we connect the industries with the facility of solar and how can we make the city and the rural smart city, which is also the objective of the honorable Prime Minister. E-vehicle has also emerged as a good option and it is our effort that how we can move the state forward through technology at the lowest cost.

Manish Sinha, Managing Director of SIDBI also presented his views. The main coordination of the program was done by Mr. Tariq Hasan Naqvi, Chairman, Solar, and E-Vehicle Committee. National Treasurer of IIA Shri Alok Agarwal, Convener of Solar and E-Vehicle Expo Shri Awadhesh Agarwal, Seminar Moderator Smt. Usha Bajpai and other IIA officials were present in the program. More than 200 participants were involved in the program, including engineering college students.
