Recently, G7 CR Technologies India earned the Modernization of Web Applications to Microsoft Azure advanced specialization.   • Please elaborate on advanced specialization on modernization of web applications. 

Advance Specialization and Expert MSP is a rigorous validation process that Microsoft carries out through an external auditor, each audit has well-defined requirements for a partner to qualify for the audit and a structure mechanism to audit the skills, people, process & technology.

Expert MSP audit consists of 67 controls/requirements and it is mandatory to meet a minimum of 61, there are categories that do not allow any exceptions. Similarly, advanced specialization is more specific to the necessary skill set for each of the specializations. There are about 8 areas of specialization of which we have completed the audit and are certified for 5 areas, the remaining 3 are in progress.

  • Linux and Open Source Database Migration to Microsoft Azure
  • Modernization of Web Applications to Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure

  • What is the association with Microsoft on this? Please explain

The Modernization of Web Applications in Microsoft Azure advanced specialization specifically is a validation of a solution partner’s deep knowledge, extensive experience and proven expertise in migrating and modernizing production web application workloads, and managing app services (PaaS) in Azure.

Only partners that meet stringent criteria around customer success and staff skilling, as well as pass a third-party audit of their web workload deployment and management practices, including the ability to implement Azure App Service, will earn the Modernization of Web Applications in Microsoft Azure advanced specialization.

  • What are the benefits that the customers will get from the association

  • What is the current cloud market in India and its growth in the next 5 years

Based on a report submitted by IDC, the Cloud market is expected to grow at CAGR of 21.5% for 2020-2025 and we have seen similar growth in Indian market. Our Cloud sales revenue has clocked average YoY growth of 111% in the last four years and our projection for this year is still over 100%.

  • How G7 CR is helping SME's to grow by adopting Cloud as a technology?

G7 CR has always been passionate about assisting SME’s in their digital journey. We have packaged solutions that are easy to consume for SMEs. SMEs are aware of the default Cloud benefits however adopting Cloud has been the pain area, we build in the adoption services as a free offer for SMEs who purchase Cloud from us allowing them to embrace Cloud & get highly skilled services. The COVID situation, further left SMEs with no choice but to adopt Cloud  to sustain their business, with their ERPs at office and accessibility becoming and issue. Our package of Work from home ERP & secure desktops helped SMEs to continue working from anywhere and sustain their business.

  • What are the future plans of G7CR in the Indian market

We will continue to build and invest in Cloud skills, we have increase our employee count by 30% in the last 3 months. We will expand our services offering and will start offering application Modernization as a key service for businesses already on Cloud and are looking to optimize cost & performance.

We will double our investments in helping Startups & SMEs through the Cloud & Digitization journey.

  • Any other tie-ups and associations. Please elaborate. 

We are looking forward to a couple of large tie-ups this year, which is aligned to our SME focus & vision.
