KT Rama Rao Announces Property Tax Exemption for ST Entrepreneurs in Telangana State

In Telangana Government took a milestone decision for ST Entrepreneurs by by doing away the property tax for them. Yes, Business units owned by entrepreneurs from Scheduled Tribe (ST) community are exempted from property tax under the CM ST Entrepreneurship and Innovation Scheme. This was announced by Telangana State IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao.
Since the beginning of the scheme in 2017 about 300 ST candidates were trained at ISB.
He informed this at the CMSTEIS and MSME scheme Asset Distribution programme in Hyderabad.
Of these, 95 candidates were sanctioned assistance of Rs 108.03 crore to set up their units.
