JPMorgan Chase & Co informed that the company has elected Mr Todd Combs as the member of the Board of directors. Combs is a stock-picking deputy of billionaire investor Warren Buffett.
Buffett has said hiring Combs as a portfolio manager to handle $9 billion of investments at Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Inc as "one of (his) best moves."
Combs started his professional journey as an analyst for Florida's state financial regulator and worked as risk analyst for Progressive Corp. He moved on to be founder and CEO of Castle Point Capital in 2005, a money manager for endowments and foundations.
Later in 2010, he joined Berkshire Hathaway and was an investment officer before JPMorgan hired him.
"We're pleased he has agreed to serve on our Board of Directors, and our company and our Board will benefit from his wisdom and judgment," JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon stated.
