Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel said that the concerted efforts of the Department has paved the way for providing new employment opportunities to about 1,700 youth in the state who have passed Fireman, and First and Second Class Boiler Attendant courses.

The Minister emphasized on the need of ensuring employment opportunities to skilled youth. "Haryana state govt is committed towards employment oriented ecosystem for industry specific skilled manpower," Mr Goel said.

This would also benefit those awaiting promotions.

Mr Goel said the Board which conduct technical examination and viva voce of Fireman, Boiler Attendant First Class and Second Class was constituted after every three years.

But for the last 14 years, the Board was not constituted as a result of which the technical examination had not been conducted.
