Haryana Ranked 3rd in Ease of Doing Business Ranking for States

Commenting on this progress, Vipul Goel, Minister of Industries for the Haryana State have expressed his views by adding, “The state is aggressively working towards creating a favourable investment destination entrepreneurs and investors. In today’s time, various states are competing with each other in attracting investors and Investment. Haryana has progressed to occupy the third rank among the states in the Ease of Doing Business rankings. This is a commendable achievement.

While Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Haryana are the top rankers in Ease of Doing Business, Jharkhand and Gujarat stand fourth and fifth, respectively.

Stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, today released the final rankings of states in the Ease of Doing Business.

Commenting on this progress, Vipul Goel, Minister of Industries for the Haryana State have expressed his views by adding, “The state is aggressively working towards creating a favourable investment destination entrepreneurs and investors. We have been striving hard in ensuring the best experience for those who would like to do business here as they are creating jobs for the youth.”

Commenting on Ease of Doing Business, he also added, “The ease of doing business has become a great motivator for people like us, who are responsible for ensuring policy framework which can give valued business experience to the investor. This achievement is for all my colleagues who strived hard in working towards the policymaking and execution framework towards business.”

The current assessment under the BRAP 2017 is based on a combined score consisting of evidence on reforms uploaded by the states and UTs and the feedback score based on the feedback garnered from actual users of the services provided to businesses.

It is for the first time that DIPP has introduced taking feedback to ensure that the reforms have actually reached the ground level.
