The government is attempting to rank states based on their endeavors to advance smaller scale, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), a senior authority said.
"We are making a state positioning framework where we will rank states, we are in chats with Niti Aayog for this," MSME secretary AK Panda said at the National MSME Awards function here on Wednesday.
"We will rank states based on 4E's. Work age, for big business creation, third, fares, and fourth for simplicity of working together," Panda said. "At last, the move is making place in states," he said.
Panda said MSMEs are progressively enlisting themselves on the products and enterprises charge arrange (GSTN), which is carrying them into the proper segment.
