The gross Goods and Services Tax, GST revenue collected in August this year is over one lakh 12 thousand crore rupees. Of which, CGST is 20 thousand 522 crore, SGST is 26 thousand 605 crore, IGST is 56 thousand 247 crore and Cess is eight thousand 646 crore rupees.
Finance Ministry said the revenues for August is 30 per cent higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year. During the month, the revenues from the domestic transaction is 27 per cent higher than the revenues from these sources during the same period last year.
