Anand Mahindra Inducted to RBI Central Board as Non-Official Director
Pankaj R. Patel, Chairman, Zydus Lifesciences Limited and Anand Mahindra Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra has been appointed as one of the part time non-official Director in the Central Board of the RBI, revealed on Tuesday.
The government has appointed four dignitaries from the industry as part time non-official Directors on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The central board is the highest decision making body of the apex bank headed by the RBI governor.
Pankaj R. Patel, Chairman, Zydus Lifesciences Limited has been appointed as one of the part time non-official Director in the Central Board of the RBI, revealed on Tuesday.
Other appointments include Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra; Dr Ravindra H Dholakia, a retired Professor of IIM, Ahmedabad and Venu Srinivasan, Chairman Emeritus, TVS Motor Company.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the proposal of appointment for a period of four years from the date of notification of his appointment, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
