Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses today announced the appointment of Mr. Jai Shankar Krishnan as an Independent Director to its Board, further strengthening the company’s strategic depth as it accelerates global expansion.

Mr. Krishnan brings over three decades of leadership across industrial manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG, pharma, life sciences, and diagnostics, with a career spanning Hindustan Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, and most notably, Danaher Corporation.

Mr Krishnan’s most significant tenure was at Danaher Corporation, where he scaled and integrated complex, multi-market businesses. Joining in 2008 as Managing Director & CEO for India, he led the business to nearly tenfold growth in six years. His success led to his appointment as Regional President for Asia Pacific in 2016, overseeing a substantial portfolio, and later as President for High Growth Markets, managing regions that contributed nearly 30% of Danaher’s global revenue and 40% of its overall growth. Over his career at Danaher, he also drove more than 20 strategic acquisitions, bringing deep expertise in M&A, operational discipline, and value creation, strengths closely aligned with Zetwerk’s long-term priorities.

An experienced practitioner of operational excellence and continuous improvement, Jai holds an MBA from the Birla Institute of Technology, is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, and is certified in Global Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and leadership coaching (Associate Certified Coach, ICF). He has also completed the META Leadership Program from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard Kennedy School.

These credentials complement Zetwerk’s focus on disciplined, scalable, technology-enabled operations.

Commenting on his appointment, Jai Shankar Krishnan said: “Zetwerk’s mission resonates deeply with me — bringing technology, discipline and scalable execution to some of the world’s most complex manufacturing challenges. I am pleased to join the Board and contribute to the company’s next phase of global growth, helping strengthen its operating systems, customer partnerships, and worldwide manufacturing footprint.”

Amrit Acharya, Co-founder and CEO, Zetwerk said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jai Shankar to Zetwerk’s board. His tenure at Danaher, a global conglomerate renowned for the Danaher Business System, gives him a deep understanding of how great industrial platforms are built. Companies like Danaher, TransDigm, and Motherson have shown how system-led thinking, operational rigor, and a balanced approach to organic and inorganic growth can shape entire industries. As Zetwerk scales from a strong foundation into a larger, platform-led company, Jai’s experience in codifying operating principles and building through both execution and partnerships will be invaluable. He saw the same synergy we did, and we’re excited to learn from him as we write the next chapter of Zetwerk’s journey.”

Mr Krishnan strengthens Zetwerk’s board of directors that includes industry veterans like Vinod Kumar Dasari (Former CEO, Royal Enfield and former MD of Ashok Leyland), Sanjiv Rangrass (Former Divisional CEO, ITC Agri Business), investors like Prayank Swaroop (Partner, Accel), Shailesh Lakhani, and Zetwerk's co-founders Amrit Acharya and Srinath Ramakkrushnan.
