Keeping in view the growth potential of the manufacturing sector in India, the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) is organizing a one day workshop on ‘Good Manufacturing Practices at Shop Floor’. The workshop would be conducted at the Indian Habitat Centre in the national capital on July 29.
The main objective of the workshop is to help the organization to understand and implement the best and hi-tech manufacturing practices.
The workshop will help prepare the middle and senior level executives from all functions of management to introduce and operate best manufacturing practices at shop floor.
India’s manufacturing sector has the potential to touch US$ 1 trillion by 2025. There is potential for the sector to account for 25-30 per cent of the country’s GDP and create up to 90 million domestic jobs by 2025.
The workshop will help the entrepreneurs understand development in the manufacturing practices and the Best Quality Systems followed in manufacturing along with 7 QC tools.
Through the programme, the participants would also know about facilities and equipment system being managed and handled with safety for the workers.
There would be deliberations on Best Production System; Norms for packaging and Labeling Systems; and Participants will get the Audio CD’s comprising lectures by Mr. Sharu Rangnekar.
The deliberations would be by way of Lectures, Video-CDs and Case studies with Discussion.
The workshop is beneficial for middle to senior level executives from all functions of management.
In this context, IEEMA has called the Indian MSMEs to participate in the workshop to leverage the benefits.
