Triton Solar signed MoU with Madhya Pradesh Govt. Set to Open Manufacturing facility

MoU signed between Triton Solar and Madhya Pradesh State Government

US based nanotechnology company, Triton Solar and Madhya Pradesh State Government has signed a MoU. As per the MoU, Triton Solar will invest in Madhya Pradesh for creating it’s manufacturing facility. The MoU was signed in Bhopal- the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.

Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Mr. Himanshu B. Patel, Founder & CEO of Triton Solar were present on the occasion. Triton Solar is committed towards Indian market and with this MoU the company is geared up for a multi-million dollar investment in Madhya Pradesh.

While expressing his views on the MoU, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh stated, “Renewable Energy is a high potential area for the country. Triton Solar will establish it’s manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh in order to produce cutting-edge Nano Glass, Nano Paper & Nano Batteries. This is a great moment for employment generation and investments in the Madhya Pradesh.”

“This MoU will give India’s solar energy industry a great boost,” says Mr Patel while unleashing his plans for the Indian market which includes setting up a manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. “The state government is very co-operative towards bringing this investment to the state and is proactively supportive towards our plans of execution and commitment towards the Indian market.” Mr Himanshu B. Patel mentioned.

Further elaborating on his company’s commitment towards bringing innovation in the Indian Solar Energy Segment, Mr Patel added, “India is an exciting market from the perspective of solar industry. We are committed towards Indian market and we understand the potential of the India’s Manufacturing capabilities. With the help of proactive leadership of Madhya Pradesh Government, I am very confident of creating some world class solar products.”

Apart from the manufacturing base, India operations of the company will also have dedicated sales team which will be covering the entire Indian geography.

“Solar power systems have remained fairly expensive for most home and business owners due to the current technology which is challenged by Triton’s current product line. India has an abundance of natural sunlight with great potential for renewable solar energy,” says Mr Patel.

The company is exploring industrial areas around Indore City for setting up their manufacturing plant but the company is yet to finalize specific location for their manufacturing plant.
