Tesla Motor’s Boss Musk Unleashed Mysterious Project X.com

Sharing is caring!

Elon Musk has launched a new website, x.com. The Tesla and SpaceX founder announced the launch of the new portal via the official Twitter handle. Well, anxious users trying to log on to the portal will not find anything significant than just a single letter ‘X’. Musk outlines in his tweet that the portal is still ‘verbose’ but changes will reflect tomorrow.

“Excited to announce the launch of x.com! It’s a little verbose right now, but that will be fixed tomorrow,” Musk tweeted. This comes right after Musk bought the domain for an undisclosed amount. X.com was formerly owned by the SpaceX founder, while he was still associated as a co-founder of PayPal. As per a report on Gizmodo, Musk let go of the domain after the company went public and he parted his ways with it.

As of now, Musk’s plans with the new portal remain clear. We will have to wait until tomorrow to get hold of something of substance which is speculated to give insights on the future plans. It is worth mentioning that in the year 1993, ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) barred single-letter domain names.
