Skye Air Mobility, India’s hyperlocal drone logistics company, today announced it has completed 20 lakh+ deliveries during calendar year 2025, marking a significant milestone in its mission to make quick-commerce and e-commerce fulfilment faster, greener and more reliable.
The milestone reflects rising adoption of drone-led logistics in dense urban catchments, where speed, predictability and lower last-mile congestion are increasingly critical for consumer commerce. Skye Air has been operating rapid drone deliveries in key markets including Gurugram (NCR) and aiming to expand to other metros and has been scaling capacity with a focus on operational safety, delivery integrity and infrastructure creation for autonomous logistics.
Skye Air’s network has been handling close to 5500 number of deliveries per day in active markets, supported by its technology stack and last-mile movement.
The company also highlighted the sustainability potential of drone-led last mile, each delivery can reduce carbon emissions versus traditional delivery modes.
In 2025, Skye Air also advanced its focus on building enabling infrastructure for scale, including partnerships aimed at strengthening secure delivery handoff points for autonomous logistics networks.
“Completing 20 L+ deliveries in CY2025 is a strong validation of how quickly drone logistics is becoming mainstream for hyperlocal commerce,” said Ankit Kumar, Founder & CEO, Skye Air Mobility. “Our focus remains on safe operations, predictable delivery experience, and building the infrastructure required to scale drone deliveries across cities.”
“As quick-commerce and e-commerce demand tighter delivery timelines, drones can meaningfully reduce turnaround time while easing last-mile congestion,” he added.
Skye Air said it will continue expanding drone delivery use-cases with commerce and logistics partners, while strengthening delivery infrastructure and operating capabilities across new micro-markets.
