Sintex Initiates New Manufacturing Unit in MP

Sintex, part of Welspun World and pioneer in Water Storage Tanks in India, is thrilled to announce the ground-breaking of its new manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh. The proposed facility will be for Plastic Pipes and Water Storage Tanks with an approx. investment of Rs. 400 crore. The project is likely to create employment opportunities for about 350 people.

Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh, performed the virtual ground-breaking for the facility in presence of Mr. Chetanya Kumar Kasyap, Hon’ble Minister, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Vipul Mathur, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Welspun Corp Ltd, Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Hon'ble MLA, Sanchi Vidhansabha, dignitaries and senior government officials of Madhya Pradesh during the ‘Invest MP Regional Industry Conclave 2024’ at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister said, “There is a huge potential for industries in MP, which in turn, will provide great support to the overall development of the state. Our endeavour is to set up different types of industries in each district. We are committed to make MP an industrial hub and will extend all the support to industries to expand in the state.”
