Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) witnessed a spirited celebration of knowledge, intellect and quick thinking at the Delhi NCR edition of its flagship annual quiz, TCS InQuizitive. Part of the 12-city event, this edition of the pan-India quiz, open to students from classes 8 to 12, was held at the Dogra Hall, IIT Delhi Campus.
The Delhi round drew enthusiastic participation, with 232 teams representing 50 schools from across Delhi NCR and Jaipur. After an intense battle of wits, Saiansh Tapurian and Attharv Bahgchandka from The Shri Ram School, Gurgaon clinched the top honours, emerging as winners of the Delhi-NCR edition. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Meena Mishra, Scientist & Director of the Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), DRDO, who was present as the Chief Guest of the event. Dr. Rajendra Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, IIT Delhi joined in as the Guest of Honour along with Mr. Tej Paul Bhatla, Senior Vice President and Head Government Business, India, TCS.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tej Bhatla, Senior Vice President and Head Government Business, India, TCS, said, “Watching the students compete at the TCS InQuizitive today was truly inspiring. It is this spirit that reassures me of India’s strengths. Our nation has already established itself as a global IT services hub, and we are now entering an era of transition, marked by transformation through AI and rapid innovation. The students we saw today are already users of IT, but given the talent they demonstrated, I see many future creators of technology in them. I am sure they will embrace emerging fields such as quantum, space tech and AI to drive the creation of technology solutions for our country through their curiosity, consistency and creativity.”
TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative that has been inspiring young minds for over two decades. Introduced with the aim to spark curiosity and expand awareness among students from Grades 8 to 12, it covers diverse fields, including information technology, science, sports, engineering and art. The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The competition will culminate in a semi-final and grand finale, where one school will be crowned the TCS InQuizitive National Champions of 2025. The winners from Delhi NCR edition of the quiz event will now represent the region in the National Finals, competing against champions from other cities of India.
