Renowned literary figure Rajiv Acharya was conferred with the esteemed honorary title of Sahityamahopadhyay at a grand ceremony organized by the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayagraj.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Justice Anees Kumar Gupta of the Allahabad High Court, who served as the chief guest. In his address, Justice Gupta expressed heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan in promoting the Hindi language. He remarked, “Hindi is the language of our society, and it is our collective responsibility to contribute to its growth and development at every level.”

In his acceptance speech, Rajiv Acharya emphasized the universal appeal and inclusiveness of Hindi. He noted, “Hindi is the only language that has the innate ability to embrace everyone. No other language in the world carries the emotional depth and cultural resonance that Hindi possesses.” He further cited Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of Religions and the oratory of the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as enduring sources of inspiration for Hindi enthusiasts.

Also speaking on the occasion, Professor Lalita Prasad Yadav underscored the importance of making Hindi education mandatory to ensure its continued prominence. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and culture.

Other distinguished guests included Shri Kuntak Mishra, President of the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Professor Lalita Yadav, Professor Saroj Singh, and Sheshmani Pandey, who also eloquently conducted the proceedings.

The event marked a significant moment in the ongoing efforts to celebrate and promote Hindi literature and culture across the nation.
