Acknowledging some concerns and challenges faced by MSMEs of Punjab, the state government is going to introduce subsidy, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh informed. "This step will give a boost to Punjab MSMEs and influence them who are struggling in today's business," says Punjab CM.
The Minister said that the government would roll out power subsidy to industry, with power at the rate of Rs 5 per unit, from November 1 onwards.
Singh added that the development comes post approval from the state assembly.
The decision of power subsidy to industry comes in response to the concerned raised by different MSME bodies of the state, also it was a pre-poll promise of the Congress party in Punjab.
