Programme on Quality Tools & Technologies for MSMEs by CICU

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) Development Institute, Ludhiana in association with Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organized a training programme on quality tools for MSMEs.

The objective of this training program was to create awareness regarding latest quality techniques, standards & technologies to improve the quality of the product by implementing these tools.

“MSMEs in India have great potential and their skill has proven their worth world over. But, MSMEs always have to focus on improvising the quality of their products. Entrepreneurs from the MSME domain must have to explore newer technologies to improvise their production quality.” says Avtar Singh, President of CICU, while addressing the participants “Marketing of the product cannot be done without adopting the quality parameters which satisfies the customers and in this era of competition reduced cost of production will create new market avenues for the MSMEs.”
While speaking during the program, Kamal Singh deputy director MSME institute, said that quality plays a vital role in marketing of the products either in Domestic or International Marketing. He further said that there is a need to adopt the latest techniques and designs. S.S Bedi Former Assistant Director of MSME was also present in the meeting and he shared his views with the audience.
