Over 22 Thousand MSMEs Registered Under ZED Program

More than 22,288 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have registered themselves to take up Zero Defect, Zero Effect (ZED) manufacturing under ZED scheme.

The Quality Council of India (QCI) have organized Industry Awareness Programme, training for Enterprise Capacity Building, training of officials of implementing agencies, Consultants/Assessors/Master Trainers’ training. Online Self-Assessments, Desktop Assessments and Site Assessments have carried out and ZED ratings have been awarded as provided for under scheme guidelines.

This information was given by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.
