NSIC Showcased National SC/ ST Schemes at IIFC

Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, in a tweet, said that the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) stall at the DC MSME pavilion in IIFT, Pragati Maidan, showcased the SC/ ST Hub ideas and schemes.

Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, in a tweet, said that the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) stall at the DC MSME pavilion in IIFT, Pragati Maidan, showcased the SC/ ST Hub ideas and schemes.

NEW DELHI: Mr Mishra inaugurated the MSME Expo 2016 and DC MSME pavilion at Pragati Maidan.

He said the coir stalls are displaying very innovative products including coir tiles and displays on how houses can be made of coir.

In a tweet, Mishra said, “The hub made an appearance at the #iitf2016 in the #NSIC stall at hall number 7.”

National SC/ ST Hub was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 18, 2016.

Mishra is the chairperson of the High Powered Monitoring Committee constituted to monitor the overall activities of the hub. The main objective of the SC/ST hub is to provide professional support to SC and ST entrepreneurs.

The ministry aims to enhance procurement from SC/ST entrepreneurs from 0.4 per cent to 4 per cent.
