NSIC Reduced the Fees for Single Point Registration Schemes for Government Purchases

Mr Kalraj Mishra, Minister of MSME inaugurates NSIC Swatch Bharat Abhiyan celebrations

Celebrating this Swatch Bharat initiative of the Government of India, Mr Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises visited NSIC office, New Delhi and led the drive of Clean and Healthy India. He urged to spread the message of cleanliness amongst the vulnerable sections of the society across the country. The Hon’ble Minister applauded the initiative of NSIC in reducing the Interest rates and Registration fees for Micro Enterprises in the Country on this auspicious occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC informed  that on this occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, NSIC has introduced reduction in fees in the Single Point Registration schemes for Government Purchases  for the benefit and promotion of Micro & Small Enterprises such as (i) attractive reduction in the registration fees for Micro enterprises. (ii) Nominal registration fee (Rs. 100/-) for SC/ST units (iii) A cap of Rs. 1 lakh on the registration charges for the Micro & Small Enterprises.(iv) A reduction on the renewal fees with a cap of Rs. 50,000/- for Micro & Small Enterprises.

In addition under the credit support for Raw material, NSIC is offering reduction in the rate of interest for Micro Enterprises , ranging from 10.50 % p.a. to 11.50% p.a.  and for Small and Medium  Enterprises ranges from 11 % to 12% p.a. Further, the Micro Enterprises will also be given special reduction of 50% in the renewal processing fees. All the details are also  available on the NSIC website and the nearest NSIC office.

Mr. Giriraj Singh, Minister of State ,MSME stated that, with citizens of the country becoming active participants, in the cleanliness activities across the country, this program is step in the right direction.
Mr Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary, Minister of State, MSME stated that Swatch Abhiyan has led to Understanding the significance of sanitation, and  has simultaneously addressed the health problems that Indians families have to deal with due to lack of hygiene  in their homes.

Mr. K.K Jalan, Secretary , MSME stated that all the officers and employees of Ministry of MSME including NSIC, KVIC, Coir Board should maintain the Swachha Abhiyan throughout the year and inculcate it as their daily habit.

On this occasion, a Tree plantation was also carried out to nourish our environment. The program was attended by about 100 Staff /Officers   from NSIC, Ministry of MSME .
