Under the Industry-based Memorandum, more than 2.93 lakh micro, small and medium industries of Bhopal has received over Rs 23,949 crore of capital investment during the last two years.
Also, Employment to 9.06 lakh unemployed persons has been provided in these industries.
A capital investment of Rs 14,401.67 crore has been made in 2.06 lakh industries during 2017-18, informed Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Independent Charge), Government of Madhya Pradesh, Sanjay-Satyendra Pathak.
Further, during the same period, employment to 5.96 lakh persons has been provided in these industries.
He also informed that the total of 1.97 lakh micro, 8019 small and 270 medium scale industries were established in this period.
Highlighting the previous year data, Pathak mentioned that in the fiscal year 2106-17, a capital investment of Rs 9.547.32 crore was made and 3.63 lakh persons were provided employment.
During this tenure,80,688 micro, 6140 small and 243 medium scale industries were established in the state.
Pathak, further added that the total of 2.93 lakh persons have set up micro, small and medium scale industries in the State through the new system of UAM online registration.
The new system of UAM registration being implemented in the State after the notification of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on September 18, 2015.
