Lighthouse Canton Executes Structured Credit Deal In India

Lighthouse Canton, a global investment institution with over USD 5 billion in total assets under management, through its India‑based Category II AIF, has completed INR 750 million structured investment in a scaled Indian conglomerate operating across industrials and infrastructure services.

The transaction is a downside-protected financing solution for the promoters of the enterprise, structured as a credit investment in the promoter holding company. The facility carries a 3-year tenure with regular coupon servicing, backed by security over hard assets including real estate and potential monetization proceeds. Repayment is expected through a combination of business cashflows, asset monetization, and other liquidity events.

The transaction adds to Lighthouse Canton's growing track record of structuring bespoke financing solutions for promoters of established Indian enterprises supported by its India private credit platform spanning real assets, venture debt, and performing credit.
